We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform responsible semi-skilled work inspecting and sorting finished product. You will also operate the easy-line packaging machine, ensuring high-quality output under regular supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, grade, sort, and package finished product according to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Set up all tile sorting equipment as needed.
- Inspect tiles by color and shade, sorting them into Standards, Dixie, or scrap categories.
- Grade tiles by defect, using defect boards or samples, and mark them with fluorescent dye or manually hand grade as needed.
- Notify supervisor of new or excessive defects observed.
- Assist with clearing jams on the sorting line.
- Practice correct safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the area.
- Perform related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Some knowledge of tile shading, coloring, and grading.
- Ability to separate shades of colors and rapidly differentiate the grade of tile.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot machines for quality production.
- High School diploma or GED.
