Electronic Technician

Pay: $25-$28
Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6am - 630pm
Location: South Tucson

**What You Will Do in This Role:**

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

- Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair production units that fail electrical testing.
- Operate all power and manual tools in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Share observations on faulty units with the production team to ensure timely and appropriate corrective measures.
- Train new test associates, technicians, and apprentices.
- Support design, production, and quality engineering teams with data collection, analysis, product evaluations, and process assessments.
- Prepare detailed FAI reports for internal or external purposes as needed.
- Create and update control charts to monitor and enhance performance.
- Conduct product reviews and analyses to identify causes and determine outcomes.
- Offer audit assistance in assigned areas, contribute to quality standards training, and participate in lean initiatives.
- Lead or assist in calibrating inspection, testing, and measurement equipment.
- Help train staff to maintain quality standards.

**What You Bring:**
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year of experience in quality processes, with familiarity in Quality Management Systems preferred.
- 1 year of experience using power sources, power analyzers, and multimeters.
- Knowledge of charting and process control methods preferred.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMM, measuring tables, optical comparators, functional testers, etc.).
- Ability to identify root causes of routine issues and propose solutions.
- Strong organizational and self-directed workload planning skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various company functions.
- Capability to quickly learn and operate diverse test and measurement equipment.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Skill in using hand tools.
