Position Summary:
The Parts & Supply Specialist is responsible for performing a wide range of procurement and inventory-related duties to support the acquisition and distribution of heavy and light vehicle/equipment parts and supplies. This role ensures all activities comply with State Procurement Laws, ADOT, and Equipment Services (EQS) policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order and purchase vehicle/equipment parts and supplies in accordance with established policies and procurement laws.
- Maintain accurate Purchase Card logs and receipts for all purchases.
- Conduct routine and scheduled inventory counts and reconciliations of parts and supplies.
- Process and fulfill parts and supply stock orders.
- Replenish and organize supply warehouse shelves with appropriate line items.
- Provide responsive customer service via phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Assist in the acquisition, tracking, and posting of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemicals.
- Perform other warehouse and supply chain duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Knowledge of state procurement regulations and warehouse/inventory procedures preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and perform basic reconciliation tasks.
- Proficient in basic computer systems and email communication.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
This role involves physical warehouse tasks, including stocking shelves and handling various vehicle and equipment parts.
