Job Title: Administrative Coordinator – Plant Operations
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Interview Requirement: Interviews required prior to start
Clearance: Must be fully cleared prior to start
Position Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator will support the plant management team by organizing meetings and departmental activities, maintaining critical safety and inventory documentation, and managing schedules and communication across internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, plant activities, presentations, and visits

Act as a liaison with other departments, facilities, customers, and vendors

Administer and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Issue components for inventory and prepare spreadsheets for reporting

Maintain up-to-date plant forms and ensure document compliance

Support GM and management team with calendar management and travel arrangements

Communicate with purchasing to order office supplies

Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment (e.g., copiers, printers)

Handle confidential and non-routine information regularly

Attend and participate in departmental meetings

Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Minimum 2 years of related administrative experience

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, database entry, spreadsheets)

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must maintain strict confidentiality and excellent attendance

Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
Physical & Vision Requirements:

Regular sitting, standing, hearing, speaking, and use of hands/eyes

Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to focus

Eye-hand coordination is essential

Work environment: moderate noise typical of a business office
