Job Title: Data Analyst – Time & Materials Process Automation (Recent Graduate)
Location: Mobile, AL (100% Onsite)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated recent graduate with a background in Data Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Analytics to help streamline our Time & Materials (T&M) tracking and invoicing processes. This role is ideal for someone ready to apply analytical and automation skills to improve real-world business operations. You will assess current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and build data-driven tools that enhance accuracy, visibility, and efficiency across teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing T&M workflows, including labor hours, material usage, and billing inputs

Design and implement automated systems using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate

Build dashboards and reports for use by project managers, finance, and leadership

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, and finance to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions

Document and train end users on new tools and processes
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, MIS, Business Analytics, or related field (graduated within the past 1–2 years)

Strong skills in Excel, data cleaning, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier)

Detail-oriented with a strong process improvement mindset

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with time-tracking or invoicing software

Familiarity with ERP systems or financial reporting tools

Exposure to API integrations or low-code platforms
