Refractory Technician

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Equipment Use: Assist with operating mixers and other shop machinery.
- Precision Work: Cut, measure, and install materials with accuracy.
- Hands-On Tasks: Insulation installs, tin trimming, sign mounting, caulking, and more.
- Team Support: Work side-by-side with shop leads and crew members to hit daily goals.
- Shop Standards: Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Safety First: Learn and follow all safety procedures for machines, tools, and workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
- Quick Learner: Comfortable learning new tools, tasks, and processes.
- Detail-Oriented: Able to follow measurements and plans closely.
- Physically Capable: You’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 75 lbs in a shop environment.
- Reliable and Driven: Shows up on time, takes pride in work, and can stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Team Player: Gets along well with others and steps in to help when needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous hands-on, mechanical, or shop experience preferred
- Must be able to read tape measures and basic shop drawings
- Comfortable using both manual and powered hand tools
- Willing to work overtime or weekends when needed
Work Conditions You Should Know About:
- You’ll work indoors in a shop setting that can get noisy, hot, or cold
- Some tasks involve confined spaces or elevated areas (safety gear provided)
- You’ll stand or walk most of the day and need to lift/move up to 75 lbs
- Location: Owasso, OK
- Pay: $20 - $25/hour
- Schedule: 5:00 am–3:30 pm, Mon–Fri (overtime possible)
