Position Summary
The Sow Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of data related to sow events, inventory movements, and other transactions associated with live hog production. This role also involves filing and maintaining documentation in accordance with company policies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to identify and correct errors quickly, and effective time and workload management.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter data related to sow events and live hog production activities

Record and track inventory movements and other production transactions

Identify, learn from, and correct data entry errors promptly

File and maintain production records in accordance with company standards

Prioritize and plan workload to meet daily and weekly deadlines

Perform additional administrative or clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior data entry experience preferred; agricultural or production environment experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

Proficiency with computer systems and standard data entry software

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time
