Position Overview:
We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role will provide comprehensive HR support and serve as a key liaison between our Corporate and Distribution teams. From recruitment and benefits administration to employee engagement and policy enforcement, you'll help create a work culture aligned with company values while ensuring smooth operations across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Payroll & Compliance: Oversee time entry, payroll processing, and ensure deadlines are met. Assist employees with any payroll-related inquiries and ensure accuracy at all times.

  • Employee Performance & Attendance: Track and monitor employee performance and attendance, collaborating with management to address concerns.

  • HR Systems & Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within our HRIS/Payroll system.

  • Benefits Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of our benefit programs for the Dallas facility, including processing invoices for health and welfare plans.

  • Employee Leave Management: Administer employee leave programs and provide guidance on leave options, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Workplace Safety & Compliance: Keep the workplace in compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe work environment for all employees.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes for non-exempt and temporary employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee relations issues, interpreting company policies, and resolving conflicts as they arise.

  • Event Planning & Employee Engagement: Plan and execute employee events, training, and team-building activities that align with our company culture.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and annual reports on key metrics like headcount, benefits costs, employee performance, and more.

  • Administrative Support: Provide critical support to the management team with tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and organizing meetings and communications.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:

    • An Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources administration, with a solid understanding of all key HR functions.

    • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.

  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, data manipulation), and experience with HRIS and payroll systems (UKG preferred).

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to function in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information clearly and persuasively.

    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

    • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and demonstrates a genuine interest in supporting employees and managers alike.

Physical Requirements & Environment:

  • This role requires occasional manual lifting (up to 50 lbs with a dolly) for event setup and employee activities.

  • The distribution facility is not climate controlled, and occasional travel to other locations may be required (1-2 times per year).
