Position Summary
The EHSSQ Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized documentation for the EHSSQ department in accordance with the Evonik Records Retention Policy. This role serves as the document control coordinator, supports internal communications, manages departmental purchasing, and provides administrative support across key EHSSQ initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain all physical and electronic EHSSQ records using a centralized system in compliance with the company's retention policy

Serve as Document Control Coordinator: review, update, and manage procedures and manuals to meet site requirements

Manage document updates and revisions through Open Text

Coordinate communications and maintain organizational tools such as Teams and OneNote
-
Schedule meetings, record minutes, and track action items for EHSSQ Department meetings, Site meetings, Superintendents meetings, and Community initiatives

Issue Purchase Orders and manage outline agreements and vendor relationships for the department

Track all third-party work, commitments, and remaining spend with monthly updates
Requirements

High school diploma required
-
Minimum 2 years of administrative or office experience

Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently

Professional communication skills verbal, written, and interpersonal

Advanced or intermediate proficiency in:

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams

Microsoft SharePoint, Open Text, Skype, Ariba, SAP

Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher
