Manufacturing (Downstream) Technician
Hours: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 3:30p-12:00am
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Harrisonville, MO
Please Note: This is a very hot environment! You’ll be working around large industrial equipment that produces heat.
Training: Takes place on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
Gear: Steel/composite toe boots (6” lace-up minimum) required. No baggy clothing, hoodies, or anything with strings.
What You’ll Do
As a Downstream Technician, you’ll be the last set of hands on the production line before products head out to customers. You’ll be working with heavy-duty equipment that produces plastic pipe, making sure everything is finished, packaged, and ready to ship. A typical day includes:

Inspecting finished pipe for quality, making sure there are no cracks, defects, or other issues.

Packaging products using standardized procedures so orders are ready for delivery.

Tracking production counts and reporting them to ensure the line is hitting efficiency goals.

Setting up and adjusting downstream equipment, and assisting with line changeovers, startups, and shutdowns.

Working hands-on with tools, machinery, and packaging systems.

Keeping your area safe and clean — safety and housekeeping are a big part of this role.

Prior industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Physical & Work Requirements

Must be able to perform physical labor in a hot environment with fluctuating temperatures.

Ability to stand, walk, twist, bend, squat, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.

Must be able to handle, move, and package heavy materials safely.

Full range of motion required to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
