Purpose of the Job
Responsible for capturing all indirect spend for sites and projects within the Hub, implementing approved sourcing strategies, and ensuring results on all KPIs. Contribute to the overall success of ***.

The role focuses on capturing all indirect spend, co-developing, and executing an aligned sourcing plan, and supporting category management to maximize profit and service.
Job Content
- Ensure compliance with SHE and Security risks, including reporting incidents and addressing irresponsible behavior.
- Demonstrate and lead by example in adhering to *** Protective Materials Values, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Contribute to Manufacturing Excellence by optimizing processes and participating in assigned roles.
- Conduct work safely and effectively, adhering to all procedures and policies.
- Abide by APM and *** security procedures, including managing intellectual property and reporting security threats.
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, coordinating purchasing activities for spend between 100,000 and 500,000 Euros.
- Capture indirect spend, define sourcing approaches, and write an annual sourcing plan.
- Implement sourcing strategies, increase usage of Strategic Sourcing Methodology, and lead negotiations for spend projects.
- Define and lead cross-functional sourcing teams, providing direction and support throughout the strategic sourcing process.
- Develop and manage relationships with preferred suppliers, track performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Input to Category Management by collecting relevant information and enforcing contract compliance.
Authorities
- Conclude and implement contracts within the value range of 100 KEuros to 500 KEuros.
- Determine optimal supply base within category strategies.
- Lead Cross Functional Teams and supplier performance improvement projects.
Complexity of the Job
- Drive centrally led and locally present Indirect Spend organization.
- De-complex supplier base and consolidate spend towards preferred suppliers.
- Manage change in stakeholder mindset and deliver results on customer satisfaction, savings, and compliance.
- Lead complex cross-functional/multi BG teams across diverse regions and cultures.
Knowledge and Educational Level
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, commerce, engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of Category products, services, and contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of Indirect Spend dynamics, markets, and growth opportunities.
Required Level of Experiences
- Recognized qualification in Purchasing.
- Substantial professional experience (> 3 years) in Purchasing (Indirect), business intelligence, or marketing & sales.
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
- Deep understanding of Hub/Site business needs and change management capabilities.
