Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM (Starting on 1st to train, shift may be adjusted once fully trained)
Pay: $22/hour or based on relevant experience
Job Overview: This is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience or exposure to Swiss-style CNC machines and is eager to learn and grow in a high-precision environment. You'll be part of a supportive team with experienced machinists and setup personnel available to train and assist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce small, high-tolerance components
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations for accuracy and consistency
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other basic measuring tools
- Work from job travelers, setup sheets, and blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications
- Communicate with senior operators and supervisors regarding machine performance or quality concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines
- Some prior experience or training with CNC machines
- Willingness to learn Swiss-style machining processes
- Ability to read basic blueprints and use standard measuring tools
- Dependable and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
