Calibration Technician II

We are seeking a Calibration TechnicianLevel II to join our client's growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with either formal education in electronics/calibration or hands-on experience in the field. Technicians will perform calibration of process instrumentation in up to three (3) to four (4) disciplines, with opportunities for growth and specialization. If interested apply today!
Salary: $54,080-$71,760/year Schedule: M-F 6am-2:30pm (some occasional OT required) Type: Direct Hire!
Key Responsibilities: • Perform calibration work in a laboratory or customer on-site setting • Follow established procedures to ensure accurate measurement techniques • Maintain and utilize calibration standards and equipment • Assist or work independently to complete calibration tasks • Understand and apply measurement uncertainties and lab accreditation scopes • Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards • Travel to customer sites as needed (25%–50%)
Qualifications: • Independently perform calibrations across 3-4 disciplines with expert-level skill in one • Experience in Electrical and Pressure Calibration highly desired • Strong knowledge and understanding of Ohm's Law highly desired • Coordinate daily tasks without direct supervision • Contribute to team training and development of junior technicians • Prepare for advancement to Technician III by developing additional expertise
Education: Minimum Requirements: • Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or related field or 3 years of calibration or related experience
Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience with calibration systems such as PMEL, TMDE, Metrology, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GCAMS • Basic to advanced math skills (algebra, geometry, statistics) • Familiarity with ISO 17025 and measurement uncertainty principles • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience in electronics, machining, or aviation calibration systems
