Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Architect to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business architecture framework. This role will focus on establishing a current-state baseline, identifying process improvement opportunities, optimizing resources, and aligning operations with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in business analysis, value stream mapping, and organizational change management.
Key Responsibilities
Establish Baseline of Current Business Architecture

Identify and document core business capabilities, processes, and information flows.

Map all business units (BUs), their functions, and interdependencies.

Evaluate current tools and systems for effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Opportunity Identification

Perform SWOT analyses across BUs to identify areas for improvement.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather insights and uncover opportunities.

Leverage data analytics to highlight trends and hidden growth areas.
End-to-End Review

Assess current metrics and KPIs to ensure strategic alignment.

Conduct value stream analyses to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

Benchmark performance against industry standards to identify gaps.
Work Elimination

Apply Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and improve workflows.

Automate repetitive, manual processes to enhance productivity.

Reallocate resources to focus on high-value activities.
Target Operating Model

Develop and document a target operating model aligned with strategic objectives.

Ensure business processes and systems support the operating model.

Drive organizational change through structured change management initiatives.
Cost Component

Capture and analyze cost components associated with business functions.

Identify cost-saving opportunities through process redesign and efficiency gains.

Develop financial models to support strategic decisions.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.

7 years of experience in business architecture, business analysis, or process improvement.

Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.

Proficiency with enterprise architecture and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi).
