Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Associate to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role will play a pivotal part in analyzing and enhancing various business processes to support supply chain operations. You will collaborate with multiple departments, providing vital support in standardizing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to ongoing training programs. This position offers a blend of on-site and remote work, with initial full-time training conducted on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Support and maintain standard work procedures and business processes to ensure consistency and efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and drive process improvements.
- Training Support: Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain training programs and curriculum, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Data Analysis: Participate in the creation and evaluation of supply chain surveys, analyzing data to provide actionable insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to enhance business processes, such as value stream mapping, supplier quality, and problem-solving techniques like fishbone diagrams and 5 Whys.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with team members to review and optimize existing business processes, driving quality and efficiency across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, or Purchasing (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required).
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Hands-on experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Relevant industry certifications (APICS, Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus.
