A well-established organization whose purpose is to support the community is looking for a Payroll and Accounting Specialist to support their team!
This individual will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, completing bank reconciliations, maintaining general ledgers, and supporting the accounts payable processes.
Role Details:
- $25.00 an hour
- Onsite; (will consider hybrid or remote after training period)
- Temp to hire opportunity!
- Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Will consider High School Diploma with 5 years of experience
- 3-5 years of payroll experience
- Knowledgeable with payroll and accounting software
- Preferably Paylocity and QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Complete bi-weekly payroll run and creating General Ledger entries associated with payroll
- Maintain agency fixed and expense asset sub-legers
- Prepare and process outgoing payments supporting Accounts Payable functions; such as, purchase orders, invoice coding, preparing checks and performing bank reconciliations
- Maintain Accounts Payable vendor files
