Job Summary:
The Yard Porter receives, labels, stages, and tracks vehicles in the Wentzville yard. The role also handles vehicles needing repairs or correction and helps keep the yard clean, safe, and organized. Applicants need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive all vehicles that come into the yard.
- Properly label all vehicles that come into the yard.
- Correctly stage vehicles according to their destinations.
- Ship vehicles off-site for repairs.
- Flag and stage mis-shipped vehicles according to company process.
- Check the status of vehicles.
- Keep the yard clean, orderly, and efficient while adhering to safety and driving rules.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outside throughout the year.
- Team-oriented approach.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Clean driving record, free of accidents for at least six months, with a good driving history.
