Yard Jockey/Driver

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Jockey for a premier distribution facility in Lawrenceburg, KY.
This position plays a critical role in supporting shipping and receiving operations by safely moving trailers throughout the yard, staging equipment for loading and unloading, and helping maintain an organized and efficient operation. Responsibilities
- Move trailers safely throughout the yard and dock areas.
- Spot equipment for shipping and receiving operations.
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Maintain trailer inventory and yard organization.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transportation teams.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Previous experience as a Yard Jockey, Yard Driver, Spotter, Hostler, CDL Driver, or similar role preferred.
- Forklift or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
