Our client, a well-established equipment company in Lakeland, FL is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Helper to join their team. This position supports day-to-day yard operations, equipment organization, and general labor tasks across the facility. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing, staging, and maintaining equipment and materials in the yard
- Safely operate forklifts to maneuver product throughout the yard

Clean, pressure wash, and prepare equipment for service or customer pickup

Perform basic painting and touch-ups on equipment as needed

Load and unload tools, machinery, and materials

Assist technicians or operators as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to perform needle scaling as needed
Qualifications
- Previous general labor, warehouse, yard, or construction experience required
- Previous forklift experience required

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools

Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and support team tasks as needed
- Previous experience in hydraulics preferred
