Job Summary
The Control Panel Wiring Technician is responsible for wiring and assembling electrical control panels by following blueprints and wiring schematics. This role requires the use of hand tools, including wire strippers and crimpers, to accurately connect wires to electrical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers and cutters
- Connect wires to electrical components, terminals, relays and switches
- Route and organize wiring to meet quality and safety standards
- Inspect completed wiring for accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience using hand tools and basic electrical assembly equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
