TIG Welder / Brazer – Skilled Trades Opportunity
Are you an experienced TIG Welder looking for a stable career with a growing manufacturing company? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Brazer to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with precision welding and brazing applications while producing high-quality components in a safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate TIG, gas, electric, and stick welding equipment
- Perform precision welding and brazing to customer specifications and blueprint requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, and technical drawings
- Select proper welding materials, torch tips, gases, and fluxes for each application
- Set up fixtures, clamps, and tooling to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect, clean, and prepare materials before welding
- Maintain welding equipment, electrodes, and tooling to support production quality
- Complete job documentation and production records accurately
- Move materials throughout the work area using appropriate equipment
- Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous TIG welding experience required
- Brazing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Solid math and measuring skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
