Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and TIG welding, custom fabrication, blueprint interpretation, and precision fit-up. This position requires someone who can work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and consistently produce high-quality work in a fabrication environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding using GMAW (MIG), FCAW, and GTAW (TIG) processes.
  • Complete custom fabrication projects and perform complex fit-ups according to company specifications.
  • Read and interpret advanced blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Perform precision fabrication and welding while maintaining required specifications and tolerances.
  • Work independently on routine assignments while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Use precision measurement tools, including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Ensure completed work meets or exceeds applicable ASME and AWS standards.
  • Complete projects accurately and within established production timeframes.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Take ownership of independently managed projects, including non-ASME fabrication work.
  • Support continuous improvement and remain committed to developing welding and fabrication skills.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional welding and fabrication experience.
  • Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
  • Experience in custom fabrication, heavy fabrication, or a job shop environment.
  • Strong stainless-steel welding experience.
  • Nickel alloy welding experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Strong fit-up and fabrication skills.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
 
Salary $22-$38 an hour based on experience and shift
Shift 1 st or 2 nd
