1st Shift – Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

We’re hiring experienced Structural Welders & Fitters who know how to work with wide flange beams, columns, and heavy plate and can produce quality MIG welds in a production fabrication environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WELDING

• Wide flange beams

• Columns

• Heavy plate

• Structural steel assemblies

• Fillet & multi-pass fillet welds

• PJP & CJP welds

• GMAW (MIG)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Weld and fit heavy structural steel components

• Read structural blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment

• Load welding wire and perform equipment setup

• Operate overhead cranes to move steel and assemblies

• Safely rig beams, plates, and fabricated components

• Clean welds using needle guns and finishing tools

• Inspect completed welds for quality and structural requirements

• Maintain a safe, clean, productive work area

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of structural steel welding/fitting experience preferred

• Proven experience with wide flange beams and heavy plate

• Strong GMAW (MIG) welding experience

• Experience with fillet, multi-pass, PJP, and CJP welds

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

• Overhead crane experience is a plus

• Welding certifications are a plus

• High school diploma/GED preferred

IMPORTANT

Candidates must successfully pass a structural welding test before employment.
