Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled and dependable Specialty Welder to join our client's manufacturing team! The ideal candidate has hands-on MIG welding experience, basic TIG welding knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.
Monday thru Friday 1st shift
Pay: $18 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural components and shelving assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and production specifications.
- Measure, fit, weld, and inspect components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required paperwork.
- Clean and finish welded areas using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in welding, manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing welder/fitter experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MIG welding experience required; basic TIG welding knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
