Job Summary
The main responsibilities include Tig welding, Bending and rolling parts, assembling parts according to specifications. Work with materials including: Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Copper , Brass, Inconel.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and maintain tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding equipment.
- Be able to handle complex tasks to ensure quality control of products.
- Plan, execute and monitor welding processes according to blueprints, engineering guidelines as well as applicable codes and standards.
- Estimate amount and type of materials needed to complete a particular job.
- Prep material for assembly.
- Prepare fixtures, equipment and help set up the machine before each operation.
- Use a variety of hand tools and advanced equipment.
- Ability to MIG Weld, Braze and Silver Solder, a plus.
- Bending and forming experience is helpful, but we willing to train.
- Prepping parts, welding parts, as well as identifying and resolving defects.
- High level of technical. expertise and experience in dealing with metal fabrication issues.
- Be focused, able to work with little direct supervision and have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- A high level of manual skills and mechanical aptitude.
