Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder for a growing manufacturing company in Farmington, CT. This position is responsible for performing precision welding on metal components while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have TIG welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Grind, polish, and finish welded components as needed
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous TIG welding experience required
- Experience welding thin gauge stainless steel preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Welding certifications are a plus
