Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for welding metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or other metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up welding equipment and adjust settings based on material type and thickness
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy
- Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Work with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Welding certification is a plus (not required)
