Schedule
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Occasional Fridays
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Grind, clean, and finish welded products as needed.
- Measure and verify dimensions using measuring tools and gauges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Welding certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and quality standards.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and fumes.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
- Experience with MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
