Nesco Resource is currently hiring Weavers for a textile manufacturing facility in the Enoree, SC area. We are looking for dependable candidates with textile, weaving, machine operating, or manufacturing experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor weaving looms and other textile production equipment.
- Start, stop, and monitor machines to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect fabric during production for defects, irregularities, or quality concerns.
- Identify and repair broken yarn or threads as needed.
- Replace yarn, bobbins, cones, or other materials to maintain continuous production.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operating issues.
- Monitor multiple machines while maintaining production and quality standards.
- Record production information and report equipment or quality concerns to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all plant safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Perform additional textile production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous weaving or textile manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Loom operation or textile machine operating experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify fabric defects.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Ability to work independently while monitoring multiple machines.
- Must be dependable and maintain good attendance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Steel-toe shoes and long pants are required.
