Job Title: Waterjet Operator
1st Shift
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waterjet Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating CNC waterjet equipment while maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC waterjet machines in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload materials and programs from the server
- Monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity
- Read, follow, and comply with all work instructions
- Collaborate with shear and deburring operators as needed
- Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards
- Use measuring devices to verify parts meet required specifications
- Interpret tolerances, including /- .005
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Utilize basic computer skills to support operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience operating CNC or waterjet machinery preferred
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Basic shop math skills and understanding of tolerances
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
