We are seeking a dependable Wash Tank Operator to clean and prepare ball valve components throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves operating industrial wash tank equipment, inspecting parts and ensuring components meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial wash tank equipment to clean machined valve components.
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently.
- Remove oils, dirt, debris, and other contaminants from metal components.
- Inspect cleaned parts to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Monitor wash tank temperatures and chemical levels as required.
- Clean equipment and perform basic routine maintenance.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Complete production records and maintenance documentation as needed.
- Move materials and assist with other production duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
