What you will do:
  • Goods receiving- checking, counting and putting away of stock
  • Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and other turnaround times.
  • Stock checks and cycle counting of products in the warehouse
  • Proactive approach to stock accuracy.
  • Keeping paperwork up to-date and keeping records of the stock.
  • Ensure safe and efficient handling of goods.
  • Ensure warehouse functioning and consolidation of goods.
  • Ensure that all freight is moved correctly to minimize misroutes.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling and or forklift
  • Always follow health and safety procedures
What we need from you:
  • 5 years' experience in an FMCG Warehouse Environment
  • Minimum leaving certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in use of stock management systems
  • Experience using Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing improvements in a Warehouse environment
  • Organised and methodical approach to all tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Work Environment: This job works in a manufacturing environment, using various manufacturing equipment.
