Overview
A manufacturing company in Tulsa is looking for a reliable Warehouse Specialist responsible for kitting and assembling component kits to support production. This role requires accuracy, basic computer literacy, and the ability to follow written instructions without mistakes. Perfect for someone who takes pride in clean, organized work.
Work Schedule & Pay
- Shift Availabilities:
- 1st Shift- Monday-Friday (7 am-3:30 pm) OR Monday-Thursday (5 am- 5:30 pm)
- Weekend- Friday-Sunday (5 am- 5:30 pm- paid for full 40 hours!)
- Pay:$22/hour
- Type: Contract-to-Hire (~90 days). This is meant to be a permanent position based on performance/attendance!
Key Responsibilities
- Build kits according to work orders, BOMs, or production requirements
- Pull, stage, and verify components for accuracy before sealing kits
- Perform basic data entry and update inventory or kitting status in the computer system
- Maintain organized workstations and storage areas
- Read and follow written instructions, labels, and pick lists
- Assist with general warehouse tasks (stocking, labeling, counting)
- Coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery of kits
- Support cycle counts and basic inventory control
Required Qualifications
- Prior warehouse or production support experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions accurately
- Basic computer skills (email, ERP navigation, data entry)
- High attention to detail — mistakes in kits cause production delays
- Ability to work on feet and lift up to 30–40 lbs
- Strong reliability and work ethic
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous experience with kitting or assembly
- Exposure to ERP or inventory systems
- Manufacturing/industrial environment familiarity
- Solid workplace communication skills
