  • Provide daily WMS support for receiving, inventory, replenishment, allocation, waving, picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment.

  • Troubleshoot issues involving the WMS, ERP integrations, automation, data, hardware, and warehouse processes.

  • Partner with Distribution Operations, IT, and technology vendors to resolve system and operational issues.

  • Monitor WMS performance and identify issues affecting productivity, inventory accuracy, and order flow.

  • Support warehouse automation technologies, including Exotec goods-to-person automation and Tompkins T-Sort.

  • Monitor interfaces and data flow between the WMS, ERP, automation platforms, and other warehouse technologies.

  • Support RF scanners, printers, mobile devices, and other technology used throughout the Distribution Center.

  • Analyze warehouse data, KPIs, inventory movement, and order flow to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

  • Recommend and implement WMS configuration changes and process improvements to improve throughput, inventory accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Support WMS enhancements, upgrades, testing, deployments, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Develop test scenarios and coordinate testing for system changes and integrations.

  • Create and maintain WMS documentation, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.

  • Train warehouse supervisors, managers, super-users, and associates on WMS functionality and process changes.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Distribution Center Operations and Corporate IT for WMS-related issues and initiatives.

  • Coordinate with WMS, automation, hardware, and technology vendors through issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems in a high-volume distribution or fulfillment environment.

  • Strong hands-on understanding of distribution center operations and fulfillment processes.

  • Experience supporting enterprise WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder/JDA, Körber/HighJump, Infor, SAP EWM, Intra1, or similar systems.

  • Experience troubleshooting WMS and warehouse process issues in a live production environment.

  • Experience with WMS configuration, testing, upgrades, deployments, implementations, and post-go-live support.

  • Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, replenishment, allocation, waving, picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment.

  • Experience supporting ERP-to-WMS integrations and system interfaces.

  • Experience working with RF scanners, printers, mobile devices, and warehouse technology.

  • Experience with warehouse automation is strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and warehouse reporting tools is a plus.

  • Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, vendor management, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in consumer products, apparel, retail, e-commerce, wholesale, or direct-to-consumer distribution.

  • Experience supporting automated picking, goods-to-person, sortation, or other warehouse automation technologies.

  • Experience with Exotec, Tompkins Robotics/T-Sort, or Hy-Tek Intra1 is a plus.

  • Experience supporting a WMS implementation, major upgrade, or post-go-live stabilization.

  • Previous leadership or management experience within Distribution Center Operations or Warehouse Systems is highly desirable.
