Nesco Resource
is seeking hard-working candidates for a Warehouse Lead
position for a Distribution client in Livonia, MI.
Shift: 7:00 am to 4:30p, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock
- Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
- Maintain clear records on all inventory and stock.
- Operate stock management tools including standing hi-lo and reach truck within safety guidelines
- Operate hand scanner to transact raw material from receiving
- Prepare outbound orders for shipment
- Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damages
- Identify inventory discrepancies and assist in determining the root cause
- Cycle count scheduling to meet financial and operational targets
- Organize the warehouse space and maintain a clean environment.
- Clean up and dispose of dunnage as needed
- Take physical inventory of material as requested
- Create and follow cycle counting schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Forklift certification, required
- Minimum 1 year of Standing Forklift or Reach Truck experience, required
- Knowledge in cycle counting, warehouse operations, inventory tracking pull systems, and SAP
- Proficient in computers and data entry
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift throughout shift
- Must have excellent attendance
- Time management and organizational skills
