Nesco Resource is hiring for a Warehouse Coordinator in the Shelbyville area.
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating material transfers between Warehouse A and Warehouse B. This role ensures timely preparation, shipment, tracking, and confirmation of inter-organization material movements while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with warehouse teams.
Job Description
- Receive inbound goods: check, count, label, and store stock accurately
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of all materials
- Load and unload vehicles using manual handling and/or forklift
- Plan and coordinate inter-warehouse material transfers to ensure on-time availability
- Prepare shipments by ensuring materials are properly packed, labeled, and documented
- Monitor shipment status and proactively follow up on delays or discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve shipping issues such as shortages or damaged goods
- Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems
- Collaborate with warehouse, supply chain, and logistics teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Communicate via email and provide regular reporting
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Strong organizational and tracking skills
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve shipment discrepancies
