Warehouse Clerk

Pay rate: $18.00
Requirements: Forklift and valid driver license
Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable Storeroom Warehouse Associate to join our receiving team. This position will primarily focus on receiving incoming materials, putting products away, organizing shelves, and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
The right candidate should be comfortable with physical work, basic computer tasks, and working in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming materials.
- Organize and stock parts on shelves, racks, and storage areas.
- Use a pallet jack to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Operate a sit-down forklift; training available for candidates with no prior experience.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Enter and update information using a computer.
- Check incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Use a warehouse ladder to stock parts on higher shelves. The ladder has safety rails and a locking mechanism and reaches approximately 80 inches.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse, receiving, material handling, or related experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted when needed.
- Must be comfortable working on a warehouse ladder.
- Must be safety-minded and dependable.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Steel-toe shoes are required.
Work Environment
- Warehouse is not temperature controlled and can be hot during the summer.
- Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Important: The temporary employee will not be driving a company vehicle during the temporary assignment.
