Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and quality-checking products accurately and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow warehouse, shipping, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against shipping documents.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged products, or missing items.
  • Enter shipment receipts into a computer system and print shipping labels.
  • Pick outbound orders using RF scanners.
  • Verify product quantities and ensure the correct products are selected.
  • Select appropriate packaging and pack products securely.
  • Move completed packages to the designated quality-check area or conveyor line.
  • Pack and unpack boxes and load/unload boxes from pallets.
  • Follow all warehouse, shipping, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy and productivity while completing assigned tasks.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous shipping, receiving, picking, or packing experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly pack and unpack boxes and handle warehouse materials.
  • Ability to lift light to moderate weights.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and, at times, in confined areas.
  • Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
