Warehouse Associate / Forklift Trainee

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Bridgeport, CT

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour, with the opportunity to increase to $25.00/hour after obtaining Forklift and Hazmat certifications.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime: Available for those who want additional hours.

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term future with the company.

Employees start at $18.00 per hour. Once both Forklift and Hazmat certifications are obtained, pay increases to $25.00 per hour!

Already have your forklift certification? You may qualify to start at $21.50 per hour, pending a successful forklift skills test.

Job Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and inspect materials for damage.

• Verify shipment quantities against packing slips and enter items into the inventory system.

• Move and organize materials in designated shelves, bins, and pallet racks.

• Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders for outbound delivery.

• Safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (when certified).

• Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies to management.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.

• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Willingness to obtain Forklift and Hazmat certifications.
