Position Summary
As a Condition Report Writer / Vehicle Inspector, you will inspect incoming vehicles, document their condition, take photographs, and complete electronic condition reports using a handheld device. Your attention to detail helps ensure accurate vehicle assessments before sale or transport.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Identify and document dents, scratches, paint damage, windshield damage, and other imperfections.
- Record vehicle mileage, VIN, and overall condition.
- Take clear, accurate photographs of each vehicle.
- Complete electronic condition reports using a handheld device.
- Maintain accuracy while working efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using handheld electronic devices or tablets.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous automotive, inspection, detailing, or vehicle-related experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate!
