Valve Body Technician
Location:
Camelback Rd & 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, AZ
Shift:
1st Shift — 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Urgent Need — Bilingual Preferred
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Valve Body Technician to support production and assembly operations. This position involves hands-on mechanical work, inspecting components, and completing tasks according to established procedures. Candidates must be comfortable using a computer to view and follow detailed work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and work with valve body components
- Follow step-by-step computer-based work instructions
- Use basic hand tools and production equipment as required
- Inspect parts for quality, damage, and proper fit
- Perform basic mechanical assembly and component installation
- Accurately document completed work when required
- Identify and report defective or incorrect parts
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety and production procedures
- Work closely with team members and leads to meet daily goals
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, automotive, or mechanical experience preferred
- Must be comfortable using a computer to follow work instructions
- Ability to follow detailed written and visual procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Reliable attendance and stable work history
- Ability to perform repetitive hands-on work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required
Preferred Qualities
- Mechanically inclined
- Automotive or transmission-related experience
- Previous production or assembly experience
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable learning new computer systems and production processes
- Consistent attendance and long-term job commitment
