The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role supports efficient production operations while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble fabricated parts and components at designated workstations following product specifications and work instructions
Use hand and power tools to build and install parts and subassemblies
Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with tolerances
Identify defective units or components and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Report production or quality issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
0–2 years of assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred
Basic knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures
Strong attention to detail and quality
Work Environment & Supervision:
Works under direct supervision with clearly defined guidelines
Limited independent judgment required; tasks are routine and structured
Reports directly to a supervisor or production manager
Special Considerations:
Lifting up to 30 lbs. (limited repetitive lifting)
Exposure to machinery and moderate environmental risks (chemical, physical, or biological)
May operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts), depending on certifications and job assignment
TIME KEEPING
Worker will utilize SAP Fieldglass for weekly time reporting.
