Nesco Resource is currently hiring Twisting Operators for a textile manufacturing facility in the Enoree, SC area. We are seeking dependable candidates with textile, machine operating, or manufacturing experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor textile twisting machines and related production equipment.
- Load yarn, cones, bobbins, or spools onto twisting machinery.
- Start, stop, and make basic adjustments to machines to maintain proper operation.
- Monitor yarn tension, twist, and overall product quality throughout production.
- Identify and repair broken yarn or thread as needed.
- Remove completed packages and replace empty tubes, bobbins, or cones.
- Inspect finished material for defects and ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Monitor multiple machines while maintaining production expectations.
- Troubleshoot minor machine or material issues and notify supervision of equipment problems.
- Complete required production documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous textile manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Twisting, winding, spinning, weaving, or textile machine operating experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift are required.
- Steel-toe shoes and long pants are required.
