Overview
Join our team in the vibrant community of Newberry, SC, where we are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our production process. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing line, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-use inspections for cranes and PIT/tuggers.
- Maintain a tidy and hazard-free work environment, promptly addressing any safety concerns.
- Efficiently manage spools and bobbins, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Communicate effectively with Material Handlers and Supervisors to ensure material availability.
- Prepare necessary labels and production documentation.
- Discharge completed spools and replace bobbins as required, addressing wire breaks as trained.
- Conduct quality checks, including assessments of form, torsion, color, and more.
- Accurately complete all documentation related to production and quality.
- Report any material defects or trends affecting quality to the Supervisor.
- Submit weld samples promptly and assist other operators as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks when trained and authorized.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures effectively.
- Authorization and training to perform assigned tasks.
