Turret Punch Machine Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Turret Punch Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC turret punch equipment to produce high-quality metal components while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turret punch machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience operating a turret punch machine in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC equipment; Amada experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- CNC programming experience is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts
- Day shift
- Overtime available as needed
- Weekend work may be required based on production demands
