Training Specialist

Position Overview

This non-exempt role is responsible for delivering and facilitating training programs in diverse learning environments while supporting organizational development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience designing effective learning interventions, facilitating group learning processes, and partnering with management to align training programs with business objectives.

Overtime: Hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at Time and a Half.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs and facilitate group learning sessions in diverse settings
• Design and develop learning interventions to address defined business and organizational needs
• Partner with management to identify organizational objectives and training requirements
• Create and implement courses and training materials aligned with business goals
• Apply human learning concepts and instructional techniques to improve learning outcomes
• Support employee development initiatives through effective facilitation and instructional design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, or a closely related field preferred
• Equivalent practical and transferable experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Understanding of adult learning principles and human learning concepts
• Experience designing learning interventions to meet specific business needs
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams
