Production Training Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Training Coordinator to support training and onboarding activities within a bakery production environment. This position will be responsible for developing and improving training processes, maintaining training documentation, and providing hands-on support to new hires.

Approximately 80% of the role will be spent on the production floor, and the individual will be expected to learn all production positions within the facility.

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document training processes and procedures for bakery operations.
• Streamline and improve the training and onboarding process for new hires.
• Maintain, organize, and update employee training files and documentation.
• Spend approximately 80% of working time on the production floor.
• Learn all positions and functions within the production area to effectively support employee training.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to new employees.
• Ensure training materials and records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
• Partner with production leadership to identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn and perform all production roles within the facility.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery/manufacturing production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stack boxes up to 7 feet high.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with production-floor positions.
