Job Summary
The Trainer is responsible for maintaining and delivering entry-level educational materials and content-specific training programs. This role partners closely with Learning & Development teams to ensure training content and delivery align with business needs and target audiences.
The ideal candidate brings strong facilitation skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple training priorities while maintaining professionalism and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver training programs using adult learning principles
- Teach classes in both classroom and work-based settings
- Support and assist other instructors as needed
- Utilize standardized training materials and evaluation processes
Training Program Support
- Assist in conducting annual education needs assessments
- Support development and execution of strategic training initiatives
- Maintain and update training materials as needed
Tracking & Reporting
- Utilize training databases to track employee competencies and skills
- Generate and provide training reports to managers and leadership
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in training records
Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to ensure effective training delivery
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct
- Support additional duties and training initiatives as assigned

- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Virtual classroom tools
- Content development tools (e.g., Captivate, screen capture, audio/video tools)

Education
- Associate's degree required
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of related training, education, or facilitation experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based environment
- Requires prolonged sitting, with occasional bending, stooping, and stretching
- Frequent use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- May involve working in high-pressure situations or interacting with upset individuals
- Must be flexible and available to support emergency or disaster situations as needed
