is seeking a detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant
for our long term Automotive Finishing Client in Dearborn, MI. This role is responsible for issuing, tracking, and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Shift: A crew: 4:00 am to 2:45pm MONDAY-THURSDAY, OVERTIME ON SUNDAY
Pay: 17.45$/hr
Key Responsibilities:
• Issue tools to employees and track tools as they are provided/returned
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inspections of tools
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming tools and materials to replinish inventory
• Inspect tools for damage and ensure proper calibration and functionality
• Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and lubrication as needed
• Assist with inventory control and replenishment processes
• Support production and maintenance teams with tool and equipment needs
• Follow established procedures and safety standards
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Driver's Licenses required
- Must be mechanically inclined and capable of using a wide variety of hand tools, measuring devices, and torque wrench
- Should be team-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or familiarity with TS16949 as an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and independently
