Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a skilled welder/fabricator specializing in TIG welding. Focused on safety and quality, you will be responsible for assembling and welding aluminum parts and frames according to detailed specifications. We are looking for individuals committed to operational excellence and high standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and productive attitude towards achieving plant targets and objectives related to safety, reliability, and quality.
  • Assemble and weld parts and frames following engineering drawings and print specifications.
  • Use measuring tools, hand tools, fixtures, jigs, or vises to align, fit, and clamp workpieces for proper positioning before welding.
  • Clean workpieces using chemical solutions, files, wire brushes, and grinders to remove dirt, oil, rust, or excess material.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Prepare edges of workpieces by grinding, cutting, buffing, or bending to ensure proper fit and weld integrity.
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies for defects and conformance to specifications.
  • Rework defective welds or seams as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Welding Certification or 5 years of relevant TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and continuously improve skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous welding or fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Shift / Pay Details

  • 1st Shift: $28/hr, 6am-2pm
  • 2nd Shift: $28/hr plus $3 shift premium, 3pm-11pm
  • Weekend Shift: $28/hr plus $2 shift premium, 6am-6pm Friday-Sunday

Team members may be required to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, carry objects over distance, bend, twist, squat, kneel, climb ladders, stand or sit for extended periods, and use tools requiring manual dexterity. Work may involve exposure to noise, sparks, heat, and industrial equipment typical of a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in an outdoor environment with temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees and accompanying elements.
